Publications at ARCOmadrid 2022

Galerias Municipais is a public and non-profit organisation with five galleries in different Lisbon boroughs. Under the auspices of Empresa de Gestão de Equipamentos e Animação Cultural (EGEAC), Galerias Municipais develop a year-round program of exhibition and events, reflecting the diversity of artistic creation and discourse while also maintaining a trans-disciplinary and trans-cultural focus.

Galerias Municipais are present at ARCOmadrid for the fifth consecutive year. For the 2022 edition of the fair, Galerias Municipais present their publications programme. With over 100 titles produced over the last 15 years the presentation at ARCOmadrid 2022 reflects the diversity of artistic activity in Lisbon and the programming at our galleries. The publications are presented on a specially commissioned display, produced by Atelier Standard from Lisbon. The walls of the booth are covered by posters published for exhibitions at Galerias Municipais, featuring images by Alberto Carneiro, Maura Grimaldi and Tiago Borges & Yonamine.

A schedule of conversations and publication presentations will take place during the fair, at Arts Libris / Speakers Corner (between halls 7 and 9). Details below.
