Within the context of the public programs of the exhibition Faro-Oeste, by Pauliana Valente Pimentel, and marking the National Gypsy Day, the Municipal Galleries hold next Saturday, June 24th, a conversation with Pauliana Pauliana Valente Pimentel, Bruno Gonçalves, Emília Ferreira, Pedro Pousada and Sara Antónia Matos.
The conversation is followed by the concert/performance “La Familia Gitana e António Poppe”.
Between poetry and music, the concert-performance brings together poet and visual artist António Poppe and the music group La Familia Gitana, combining poems by Camões and texts by Davi Kopenawa (indigenous leader of the Yanomami community) poems by Mumtazz and António Poppe with poems by La Familia Gitana and their music and original compositions.
