To celebrate the last week of Dois Stereos at Boavista Gallery, Tom and João present an afternoon workshop for anyone interested in experimental electronic music.
Tom Whitwell is the designer behind Music Thing Modular, and for this event he will bring a number of his ‘Music Thing Workshop System’ lunchbox-sized modular synthesizers from his studio in London.
Participants will collaborate on headphones in the gallery space, then perform through the extraordinary loudspeaker systems that are part of the exhibition. No experience is required, the event is suitable for musicians and non-musicians.
