Public lecture with Lala Meredith-Vula

As part of the exhibition Rural Topographies at Galeria Quadrum, Galerias Municipais and ArCo – Center for Art and Visual Communication organized a public lecture by artist Lala Meredith-Vula. Lala Meredith-Vula is an artist and professor of art and photography at De Montfort University, Leicester, UK. She represented Albania in the 48th Venice Biennale (1999) and participated in documenta 14 in Athens and Kassel (2017). Currently Lala is in the process of publishing a book of her on-going Haystack photographs over the past 30 years with an award from the Graham Foundation, Chicago with exhibitions intended in 2021 in Vancouver and Amsterdam.
