While Jorge Queiroz is mainly known for his drawings, it is for this exhibition at Pavilhão Branco, that the artist decided to present his most recent works in an exhibition exclusively dedicated to paintings. In this exhibition, the artist continues to present a work full of enigmas, a multi-layered oeuvre of painting that demands the viewer’s close attention in a quest to discover the elements that constitute it: fragments of architecture, landscape and the human figure.
The exhibition was the winner of the AICA Fine Arts Award 2015.
