For this performance, Joana de Conceição presents three elements: light, music and painting. The latter, entitled Essência Fantasma [Ghost Essence], is the only fixed element and serves as a background image to her concert. The light moves frenetically across the painting of simple figures, while the music, an open composition, moves through space. The artist invented a machine to explore what is divided yet meant to be united.
