Facing the Volcano – Tour of the exhibition with curators

During this guided tour of the exhibition Earthkeeping / Earthshaking: art, feminisms and ecology the curators will discuss possible connections between the works on view. Elaborating on the manifold ways the works relate to the exhibition topic, the curators will emphasize the transforming potential of community art practices. Departing from the history of the American magazine Heresies: A Feminist Publication on Art and Politics, which inspired this exhibition at Galeria Quadrum, the public will be invited to discuss the different nuclei that articulate the exhibition such as networks, land, vegetation and poetry.
