Guided tour to the exhibition with curators Catarina Boieiro and Raquel Schefer at 4pm, followed at 5pm by a conversation with artists Silvestre Pestana and Daniel Barroca about the works they present in the exhibition Generalized Visual Resistance – Photobooks and Liberation Movements: Angola, Mozambique, Guinea-Bissau and Cape Verde. The conversation will address the way in which contemporary artistic practices allow for a rethinking of history and the colonial legacy that runs through different generations of Portuguese artists.
