This publication accompanies the exhibition Retornar – Traces of Memory, the first exhibition at Galeria Av. da Índia, which was on view between 4 November 2015 and 2 February 2016. The exhibition was curated by Elsa Peralta. The publication contains photographic documentation of the exhibition and the public programs such as guided tours, performances, readings and conversations, as well as the exhibited works by Alfredo Cunha, André Amálio, Bruno Simões Castanheira, Joana Craveiro and Manuel Santos Maia. In addition to a brief introduction by Joana Gomes Cardoso, this book features a text on the exhibition project as well as texts on each of its sections.
